Trilicius Clinical Services specializes in individual and family therapy; dealing with issues related to anxiety, eating disorders, complicated grief and loss, trauma, depression, relationships, and stress management. Trilicius Clinical Services welcomes individuals of all ages including adolescents, adults and parents with younger children who can benefit from developing their parenting skills.

Krysta Winters, Psy.D.

Dr Krysta Winters, founder and owner of Trilicius Clinical Services, has extensive experience exploring how different people manage change and growth in their lives, turning times of adversity into areas of strength. Her professional explorations of how culture and gender play a role in people’s daily lives have led her to examine issues related to rural, international, and ethnic populations, including intergenerational patterns of living.

Dr Winters is a licensed Psychologist in Indiana and a Clinical Psychologist and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Illinois. She also provides life coaching for those interested in her services outside of Illinois and internationally. She is a member of The American Psychological Association, The British Psychological Society, The Academy of Eating Disorders, and iaedp (international association of eating disorder professionals). She is also a member of the Barcelona Women’s Network.  Before moving to Barcelona she was part of the Executive Board of the Heartland Chapter of iaedp.

Dr Winters has been an Adjunct Professor teaching Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and counseling skills at Wheaton College graduate school program for their various Psy.D., Masters in Clinical Psychology, and Marriage and Family Therapy programs.

Krysta has given many community presentations and welcomes the opportunity to speak on multiple topics such as eating disorders, stress management, and personal development.

Background

Dr Winters moved to Indianapolis and started practicing in Indiana in 2020 after living in the Barcelona area of Spain for two years.  Prior to that, she worked for over 18 years in the Chicagoland area of the United States. She received her Doctorate (Psy.D.) and Master’s Degree (MA) in Clinical Psychology from Wheaton College in Illinois following the completion of her Bachelorate Associate (BA) degree from Goucher College in Maryland.
